We are seeking the right candidate to join our thriving Allergy & Asthma practice for Locum Physician Assistant work to accommodate the growing needs of our patients and the surrounding community. Exceptional new grads will be considered. Great opportunity to gain experience in lifestyle friendly sub specialty.Ideal for individuals working as hospitalists/rotating schedule (7-on, 7-off) PRN or part-time already. Must be able to work holiday shift schedule.Allergy experience is preferred but exceptional candidates with limited experience (new grads) may be considered with strong credentials/background.The rate will be $50/hour.Benefits:
- Lifestyle friendly hours: 8AM-5:30 PM Mon / Wed / Thurs — 8AM-12:30 PM Tues/Fri

- No inpatient responsibilities/No Call/No weekends/No Evenings
- Located in southern Dallas county/Duncanville area (30 minutes from downtown)
- No complicated EHR to master, efficient charting system
- Excellent opportunity to develop experience in a competitive specialty
- Join established practice (22 years) with experienced Allergist and 3 trained Physician assistants
- Patient population (50% adults/50% pediatrics)
- After completion of shadowing experience and working at least 7 shifts, will provide a letter of endorsement based on skills.
Required:- Texas Medical Board License
- Must be able to work holiday shift schedule.
- Allergy experience is preferred but exceptional candidates with limited experience (new grads) may be considered with strong credentials/background.
PLEASE NOTE: Unless having at least 1 year of recent allergy experience will recommend shadowing experience (unpaid) to ensure the ability to provide Allergy/immunology care under supervised conditions. Most are able to complete this objective after 60-75 hours of coordinated practice. (New grads typically are typically towards the higher end)Flexible, team-player, fast learner, not intimidated by challenging, fast-paced experience, strong interpersonal skillsEfficient provider, capable of seeing up to 15-20 patients/day (Adult & Pediatric)Preference:- Ready to start ASAP
- Live within 30 minutes from the practice site
- Experience in fast-paced settings (i.e. Urgent Care/ED)
